Dye sublimation printing is a full colour, full-coverage printing technique. Your artwork is printed onto a sheet of high-release paper and transferred onto your apparel using heat and pressure. The dye particles convert into gas — known as sublimation — where they bond to the polyester fibers. Unlike screen printing, the dye is absorbed by the fabric for a fantastic, soft-to-the-touch feel.
Your very own, completely original t-shirt starts at just $55 for one*. For higher volume we offer a easy tiered pricing structure. Simply read the instructions, download the template for the size of the t-shirt you need and get creative!
*Australia/NZ customers only.
SINGLE SIDED PRINTS will show the bare garment as white on the non-printed side including on the back of the sleeve.
SMUDGES and WHITE STREAKS will occur near edges, seams, collars and under the arms [pictured above].
DESIGN WITHIN THESE LIMITATIONS by strategically placing patterns or graphics near problem areas. Solid colour will only highlight these areas.
SHIFTING ON THE PRESS is normal by up to 5cm. Prints that are going on the front AND back will not be aligned.
MULTIPLE TEMPLATES will need to be made for every garment size in your order. Garments do not size up evenly.
BEWARE OF WEB IMAGES as there are not often going to be good enough quality. Artwork needs to be at least 150dpi.
COLOURS MAY VARY from your original artwork and we can’t match exactly. We’ll do our very best but please expect some variance.
